Willow Creek

LOCATION Northwest of Denver

Willow Creek

This luxury home sits on a lovely 35 acre lot at a Ranch north of Denver.  The home is built into the steep hillside with large decks and stone patios with views to Willow Creek reservoir and the Indian Peak mountains.

The home sits on a stacked stone foundation with reclaimed wood siding an exposed structural steel details.  The homeowners wanted a mountain home and were able to blend their mutual styles of mountain modern with industrial accents.  The great room boasts floor to ceiling windows and a fireplace just as tall made of stone.  The trusses are made of Douglas fir timber which adds drama to the cathedral ceilings.

A well curated blend of rustic and modern elements really stands out in the lower level with concrete floors, painted shiplap and wood covered ceilings.  Their goal was a combination of stylish, easy to maintain and durable for an active family.
