This rustic private home sits on 40 acres adjacent to the C Lazy U Ranch. The project consisted of an 8,322 square foot main house, secondary garage and apartment, tractor shed, and spectacular timber frame horse barn with a caretaker apartment.

The home’s historic log cabin exterior informed the design and feel of the interior. Soaring dark wood beams frame the great room, paralleling the aged log facade. Dark wood window casings ground the visuals in traditional architecture, without distracting from the sweeping view of the mountains. This splendid mountain oasis combines the best of historical charm and modern comfort.
