Building a custom mountain home in Vail, Colorado, isn’t just about the structure; it’s about realizing a lifestyle. At Beck Building Company, we blend unmatched craftsmanship and personalized service to construct homes as unique as the Vail Valley itself.
For over 50 years, Beck Building Co. has been a leader in mountain modern home building and renovations in and around the Colorado mountain resorts of Vail & Beaver Creek, as well as the surrounding communities in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
You will have one of Colorado’s most experienced home building firms working for you. We believe that our experience, organization, skillful execution and personal approach sets us apart from other builders. The relationship that we promote with your construction team benefits you because we will make the process fun and easy.
Your best interests are the main concern of our construction team. We place an emphasis on a beautifully crafted home and a high quality construction experience. Our team promotes early involvement of Owner, Contractor, Designer and Architect through the development of budgets, creative solutions for construction issues, input for finish decisions and material selections, as well as realistic schedules developed with thorough construction documents. We strive to get you the best price available from quality subcontractors and materials to provide the high level of craftsmanship that our clients demand.
Over the years, we have focused on developing a process that provides our clients and design team with accurate and timely information that allows them to make sound decisions about the direction of your project. Our estimating process is thorough and open with all of the details available to the owner and design team. We view our role as fiduciary managers for our clients as essential to earning and maintaining trust. As such, we have developed cost reporting tools that provide our clients with concise information that allows them to understand where they are with their project budgets at all times. Our team approach is based on open and frequent communication with regular team meetings. Our meetings are agenda driven and focused on discovering and solving important challenges in a proactive manner.
Andy Beck founded Beck Building Co. over 50 years ago with a simple philosophy, “Provide quality workmanship in a professional manner, be responsible for your actions, and be forthright and personable in your relationship with others.” He worked hard to make that original philosophy our hallmark, by hiring leaders that share his original enthusiasm for this commitment. It was also Andy’s goal to “provide our customers with a quality construction experience that goes beyond the nuts and bolts of the project.”
We have over 50 years experience building custom homes. We understand the nuances of building in the Colorado Rocky Mountains – from local building codes and zoning laws to best practices in our environment. Beck Building Co. started as the vision of a single farsighted carpenter in Vail in the early 1970’s and has flourished to become a company with an impeccable reputation among discerning clients from all over the world.
