A contemporary loft in downtown Denver with awesome views of Union Station and Wynkoop Plaza needed a total remodel to capture the views and give it a style that represented its design savvy couple.
Blackened steel, exposed concrete and rustic woods came together to create a cool living space. A newly created open floor plan gave the space a much needed update from the typical apartment style layout. The craftsmanship on this project is what really
stands out. The steel and glass wall is made of all hand crafted panels which needed perfect alignment to achieve the fun and sophisticated look. The kitchen island is elegant and unique and also demanded that it provide an abundance of storage to be a beautiful and useful piece. The Master wall/headboard is also a work of art with walnut and the hidden door for the closet.
What makes this loft so enticing is the openness of the space and the all of the natural light that fills the entire space and makes it feel larger than it is. The homeowners completed the space with their beautiful additions of light fixtures and art throughout… The space is a truly elegant and sophisticated loft in the heart of Denver.

These LoDo digs came with enviable views of Union Station and Wynkoop Plaza, and yet the loft’s routine layout didn’t take advantage of that major perk. So Tom Gallagher and his team at Semple Brown worked with the owners, a design-savvy couple, to reconfigure the cookie-cutter floor plan and open the space to the cityscape, layering on a palette of “alpine modern” finishes.
