Nestled in a quiet corner of the Rockies, this Aspen Reimagined home combines industrial-inspired elements with the warmth of the surrounding wild spaces. A subtle chalet vibe speaks to the homeowner's native Switzerland. Meanwhile thoughtful open space and organic elements showcase the couple's extensive art collection.
Beck Building Company worked with Gonzalo Bueno of Ten Plus Three studio in Dallas to create a future-forward, welcoming home that accommodates a young, growing family. The breathtaking result captured the attention of Architectural Digest Italia.
At the center of it all is a mountain modern kitchen that marries natural design elements with sleek style. An oversized island anchors white and wood custom cabinetry. Clean lines and a vast textured tile backdrop echo the winter wonderland just beyond.

In this unique renovation project, two is definitely better than one. With strong family ties to the Vail Valley that span back to the mid-60s, the homeowners had a vision — turn two rowhouses into one to accommodate a growing family. But as time passed, it became clear the family would benefit more from keeping the rowhouses separate. The result is two stand-alone yet cohesive homes that combine a love of mountains, family, eye-catching design, and fun.
Situated in the heart of Vail, both homes look up to the mountains and down to Gore Creek. The side-by-side dwellings are only 20 feet wide, but teem with thoughtful design that maximizes both gathering space and privacy. The project has become a cornerstone of Vail's downtown architecture and design, with features in both Mountain Living and Colorado Homes & Lifestyle.
The renovated kitchen reflects all elements of the home's interior design, matching rich greens and blues with soft cream cabinets and turn-of-century styled lighting fixtures. A six-burner stove is framed by a striking chevron-patterned backsplash that adds a bit of whimsy to the classical design notes. Two sinks maximize functionality and flow while wood floors, wood ceiling, and large picture windows frame the space.
The second of the two townhomes is a nod to the son's love of classical Colorado mountain design. With white stucco frames and soft wood detail on the exterior, each floor caters to its purpose and the interior design flows from one story to the next. A bright wood clad entryway features plenty of built-in ski and toy storage. Reclaimed-wood box timbers and brushed stained-wood paneling couple with white oak cabinetry and flooring throughout.
At the center of it all is a modern kitchen design that captures nature in every way. Blue azul polished quartz slabs evoke natural waterways while grained wood cabinetry speaks to Colorado's remarkable mountain vistas. Vintage nautical lanterns in copper and brass illuminate the island. The faucets are by Water Works in Polished Nickel.

The Snowmass Village Retreat epitomizes a modern kitchen remodel. Beck Building Company, along with Flynn Stewart-Severy, principal at F&M Architects, and designer Jason Mitchell took a stuffy, 1990s isolated kitchen and transformed it into the regal epicenter of this eight-bed, eight-bath Snowmass Village sensation.
The result is a breathtaking display of practical, functional design elements that elevate this mainstay to a new level of elegance and charm. Clean white walls and bleached walnut floors give the room a glow up and contrast dark trim and cabinets. At the center of it all is a waterfall-edge Brazilian marble island — hand-selected by Atlanta-based interior designer Jason Mitchell. A Francois & Co. brass-trimmed hood and a shimmering Restoration Hardware chandelier draw the eye up and out.
Modern and contemporary, this kitchen renovation offers a warm, inviting space with just enough splendor to uplift any gathering.

As featured in 5280.com's "Top Denver Design," Loft Space is anything but standard. The publication highlighted it as one of 14, "gorgeous spaces that reveal what's now and next in Colorado design." Beck Building Company and Semple Brown Design, PC teamed up to bring this industrial-meets-mountain cityscape total remodel to life. A steel-glass wall, complete with hand-crafted panels, lends an artisan warmth to the loft.
The kitchen renovation is a reflection of it all with dark panel cabinetry, oversized light fixtures, and an island that provides function on and within, where the homeowners can access plenty of thoughtful storage space. Moody hues give way to a backdrop of white subway tile for an extra element of urban chic.
Without doubt, the most remarkable feature of the renovated kitchen and dining space is the dynamic hanging chandelier by Objet d'art Alexandre Ferucci. It provides the perfect amount of glimmer in this industry-meets-alpine-modern space.

Like so many of Beck Building Company's renovation projects, A Penthouse Refined in Beaver Creek had one driving priority — maximize the views. Surrounded by the seasonal show of Aspen leaves and the white slopes of Beaver Creek, this penthouse residence remodel aimed to bathe the living areas in natural light while also showcasing sophisticated color and warm design elements.
Together with S3 Architectural Group, LLC and Annie Kern of Annie Kern Interiors, Beck Building Company and the homeowners strategically reworked the floor plan to better accommodate light and lifestyle. The renovation called upon the homeowner's love of art to drive color choice and interior design, which primarily revolve around aubergine and blue with pops of yellow and brass. Luxe Interiors + Design featured the unique styling in an October 2022 article. The attention to detail is apparent in every angle of the home, while the views beyond it remain the prime focal point.
An essential part of any renovation is recognizing what stays and what goes. In the case of the beautiful Bachelor Ridge retreat, the homeowners wanted to give the residence an updated, more contemporary look and feel without losing the original log frames. Beck Building Company, along with VAG Architects and Worth Interiors, redesigned several rooms to update the look, feel, and flow.
When it came to the kitchen-dining space, the homeowners wanted an open floor plan more conducive to entertaining groups large and small while making one's way around a bright, open kitchen. Colorado Homes & Lifestyles featured the stunning results in its Jan-Feb 2016 issue. A wall dividing the kitchen and dining area came down, turning two rooms into one grand living and dining space.
The kitchen design features rich wood hues, bright countertops, and an elongated island perfect for preparing holiday meals or settling in for some seasonal soup while the trees sway outside.
This Beaver Creek residence needed a more contemporary aesthetic to update it. Once, the space was adorned with heavy drapes, elk chandeliers, and thick walls that prevented an open space. The team got to work on a plan to make it modern with some industrial details. The resulting renovation landed this home a feature in the December 2022 issue of Luxe Interiors + Design.
